Project: Proposal to demolish outbuildings and extend porch and toilet , erect single storey side and rear elevation forming garage, utility, open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room
PSA Services: We were approached by our Clients initially to undertake a Condition Survey when they were buying their property, as the Clients wanted peace of mind that there were no major defects with the property.
We were retained by the Client to obtain Planning and Building Regulations Approvals. This property is a large six bedroomed house and in addition to the proposed extensions, there were quite extensive demolition works of outbuildings adjoining the property so we sought the Planners views before submitting a formal planning application, by way of a a Pre-application Enquiry and held discussions/negotiations with the Planning Officer and after receiving a favourable response (subject of course to certain criteria), we submitted planning and building regulations applications on their behalf. Planning and Building Regulations Approvals were received, much to the satisfaction of the Clients.
Comments: This project resulted in us being retained by two further clients, the people buying our Clients previous home required a Condition Survey and the people moving out of this property required plans for an extension on their new property.
